Week 1 - Quick-Start your Journey
Set goals, create your plan & get inspired!
Week 2 - Start the Change: Choosing the Right Foods
Learn about food labeling, ingredients and high quality food choices. Begin the "30 Day Healthy Menu" Challenge
Week 3 – All Day Satisfaction / Start Moving
Learn the basic principles of nutrition and exercise to support you with your goals, keep you energized and help keep blood sugar stable throughout the day. Calculate your heart rate, get motivated, and plan your fitness strategy
Week 4 – Nourishing the Soul
Learn the difference between hunger and appetite, discover new “intuitive” and “mindful” eating habits (as opposed to emotional ones which often lead to overeating), tips to control food intake, and how to nourish yourself in other ways besides food.
Week 5 – Dining out Strategies / Snack Attack!
Dining out is an enjoyable part of life. Share ideas for great ways to enjoy going to group events and special occasions while still feeling in control of your health. Discover healthy local restaurants and get ideas for quality snacks on the go.
Week 6 – Buddy–up
Share ideas about building a support network of family and friends. Choose an “accountability partner” to support you on your journey, and get information about healthy meetup groups, CSA’s, Farmers Markets and other community resources
Week 7 – Mixing it up in the Kitchen!
Get inspired with meal planning. Bring in your favorite recipe for a healthy “makeover” and start collecting recipes that use whole food ingredients.
Week 8 – Looking forward: Attitude is Everything
